Essex, the home of the vjazzle, Amy Childs and Mark Wright was today crowned the 2011 UK’s number one Dogging hotspot.

Popular website Let’s Go Dogging (http://www.letsgodogging.com) which helps people in the UK search and interact with fellow Dogging enthusiasts has produced a league table showing where all its subscribers were from during 2011 and Essex was top of the pile.

Paul Sharp, the man behind the website and a keen Dogger said “Essex might be known for its glitz and it’s glamour but now we can saw with some authority that reem people love to go Dogging.”

He added “Whilst you might think Dogging is mainly enjoyed on the internet by men our figures showed that Essex also had the highest amount of women signing up too”

Dogging is the popular British euphemism for engaging in sexual acts in a semi-public place and then watching others doing so and some high profile celebrities have been caught in car parks across the country in the past few years. More recently Dogging has spread across Europe and over the Atlantic.
